1. Do not ever skip your breakfast. You can eat everything you want, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, yogurts, eggs and if you are always in a hurry in the mornings, I suggest you consume smoothies. You should understand that if you want to feel good, stay healthy and lose weight, you should regularly eat your breakfast.
2. Consume about 6 servings of fresh fruits during the day and at least 4 servings of vegetables every day as well. As for the fruits, try to eat them early in the morning because they tend to influence blood glucose levels which are a main component in weight storage. Bear in mind that fruits are your “cleansers” and vegetables are your “builders”.
I do not want to give you many details about which vegetables or fruits are the best to eat and why and how to eat them on a regular basis.
3. Eat lean meat such as tuna, steak, fish, turkey and beef every day. Eat red meat 2 times every day and try to not eat meat at every serving. When I say of not eating meat in between meals I mean the meals where you just have had a snack to hold you over until your next serving.
4. Any weight loss diet should include the following things. Get a wise snack and try to snack often. It is a well-known fact that you eat smaller and more frequent portions, such as snacks in between meals, you will have your metabolic rate always running which will help you to reduce weight immediately and will also preserve lean muscle mass and you will have also much sustained energy levels. As for me I hate when I overeat or eat wrong foods because I feel sluggish and it takes me down as energy levels are lowered and I can not do anything until my body renovates its metabolic rate. Find some healthy snacking ideas that contain low sugar, fat and a small amount of protein. For example, almonds, string cheese, pecans, walnuts and low fat milk, berries, whole grain crackers. So, snack often and wise.
5. And the last rule to a healthy weight loss plan is to incorporate a cheat day or a cheat meal regularly. If you do this and not too strict to yourself it will be easier for you to follow this healthy weight loss plan which leads to a healthy lifestyle. One important thing that should be accounted is that if you allow yourself a cheat day, you should get back on the bandwagon the next day or you will be got back down the way you began eating healthy. So, satisfy those cravings and bear in mind that consistency is the key to your success and not only in a weight loss issue.
